1. Toobs warranties all bodyboards against defective materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
2. Toobs warranties all bodyboards against delamination due to workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty policy does not apply to bodyboards that:
have been damaged or subjected to misuse on the part of the user.
have been altered or modified in any way by the user.
have not been handled in accordance with the board care instruction guidelines.
3. CREASES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. A bodyboard has a certain amount of life and normal usage that can break it down, similar to a surfboard or a skateboard breaking. We could build a board that doesn’t crease, but it would be too stiff and unable to flex the way a quality, high-performance bodyboard should. Toobs does use a high-grade Surlyn bottom skin that allows the board to continue to function well long after most creases.
Returns
In the event of a possible warranty issue, the board must be returned to the store where it was purchased, accompanied by the original receipt. If your board was purchased directly from us, the board must be returned to our manufacturing facility in Morro Bay, accompanied by the original receipt. Toobs Inc. reserves the right to make a final determination of warranty status in cases of questionable situations not falling into any of the above categories. In such case, the owner/purchaser of the Toobs bodyboard will be responsible for returning the bodyboard to Toobs Inc. for examination and determination of warranty.
